How MedsYet works
Five steps from signup to follow-up — for someone you care for, or for yourself. No app for the person getting texts.
You set the schedule
Create an account and add insulin, meds, meals, blood sugar checks, and anything else — for someone you care for, or for yourself. It takes a few minutes.
The phone getting texts opts in
That phone gets one text asking to reply YES to start. That's the only setup step for the person receiving reminders — no app, no account.
MedsYet.com
MedsYet.com: Hi! Medication reminders were set up for you. Reply YES to start receiving texts.
Reminders arrive on schedule
At each scheduled time, they get a plain text. They reply YES if done, or NO if not yet — like any other text.
MedsYet.com
MedsYet.com: Time for your morning insulin. Did you take it? Reply YES or NO.
No reply? We call.
If texts aren't confirmed, MedsYet places an automated voice call. They can say yes or no, or press 1 for yes and 2 for no — works on any phone, flip phone included.
Still nothing? Backup contacts get a text.
If the call still doesn't get a confirmation, the backup contacts you chose get an SMS so someone can check in.
