Our Story

Built by a son, for families like yours

What MedsYet.com is

MedsYet.com is a caregiver tool that sends SMS reminders for insulin, medications, meals, and blood sugar checks. The person you care for replies YES or NO on any phone — smartphone or flip phone. If they don't confirm, MedsYet places a voice call, then texts you and your backup contacts. You manage setup from your account; they never install an app. It is a reminder and follow-up service, not medical advice.

My dad needs important meds — and he forgets. When I'm at work or away, that used to sit on me and my mom all day: did he take it? Would we find out too late? One of us was always checking in.

Now MedsYet.com texts him the reminder on the phone he already uses. If he doesn't confirm with YES or NO, it places a voice call, then texts me and my mom — our backup alert — so we know to follow up. The history shows his miss patterns, and I use that to adjust the schedule until it sticks.

Apps needed him to install something and learn a new screen; phone alarms were easy to dismiss. I wanted plain texts, real follow-up, and peace of mind for families who can't always be in the room — a caregiver safety net for insulin, meds, meals, and glucose checks. You set the schedule. They never download a thing.

That's why I built MedsYet.com — for my dad, for my mom and me, and for families like yours who worry the same way.
