Frequently asked questions
Does MedsYet really work on flip phones?
Yes. MedsYet sends standard SMS text messages. Any phone that can send and receive texts — including flip phones, basic phones, and feature phones — works with MedsYet.
What if my parent can't type YES?
They can reply Y or YES — just one or three letters. If they don't reply at all, MedsYet escalates to a voice call where they can say yes or no, or press 1 for yes and 2 for no.
Do I need a smartphone as the caregiver?
You need any device with a web browser to set up and view the dashboard — a phone, tablet, or computer. Your loved one only needs SMS.
